Web design for Regina businesses, from a designer in Saskatchewan

I'm Elias Chapuis, a design engineer based in Saskatoon. I design and build websites and brands for Regina companies that need a clear, credible online presence: agriculture and energy businesses, professional services firms, and startups growing in the provincial capital.

My work includes the brand and launch website for Bravi, a Y Combinator-backed company serving manufacturers' field teams, and the narrative-led site for Arqon, a Paris startup building the financial engine behind real estate deals. Regina is a 2.5-hour drive from Saskatoon, so most of our work happens by video, and I can come down for a kick-off or a key workshop when it's worth it.

A Saskatchewan designer for Regina projects

Working with someone in the same province has practical advantages. We share the same clock all year, since Saskatchewan doesn't switch to daylight saving time, so there's never confusion about meeting times. I know the provincial market, and I'm close enough to meet in person occasionally without the cost of flying someone in.

Regina's economy leans on agriculture, energy and the public sector, alongside a growing group of tech and services companies. Many of these businesses sell to other businesses or to government, which means the website has to answer serious questions quickly: what you do, who you've done it for, and how to start a conversation.

Websites and brands, designed and built by one person

I take projects from the first Figma frame to the live product. That usually covers messaging and page structure, visual design, development and launch. If your look needs work, I can also handle the brand identity, so the logo, typography and website are designed as one system instead of three separate jobs.

Choosing between Webflow, Framer and custom code

Most Regina clients don't need a custom-coded site. They need something fast, secure and easy for a small team to update. That's usually Webflow, which I use for most marketing sites and describe in detail on the Webflow developer page. Framer is a good fit for smaller sites that rely on motion, and custom code makes sense when the site has to connect with a product or an internal system.

I'll recommend a platform during our first call, based on who edits the site, how often, and what it needs to connect to. You won't be locked into a tool because it suits me.

What shapes the price of a Regina website

I quote a fixed price after an intro call rather than billing by the hour. Scope drives the number: how many page templates you need, whether copy and photography already exist, whether the brand needs work, and the integrations required, such as forms, a CRM or a CMS for news and case studies.

You'll see every deliverable listed in the proposal before you commit, along with the review dates. If the budget is tight, I'll suggest what to launch first and what can wait for a second phase.

Frequently asked questions

Do you meet clients in Regina?

Occasionally, yes. Regina is about 2.5 hours from Saskatoon by car, so I can come in for a kick-off or an important workshop when it makes sense for the project. The rest of the work runs on video calls, shared Figma files and async updates.

Is it a problem that you're not based in Regina?

In practice, no. Nearly all of my projects are remote, including work for teams in Paris and across Canada. We're in the same time zone all year, and you get a direct line to the person designing and building your site.

Can you write the content for my website?

I can structure the messaging and write or edit the core copy, as I did for Arqon's website. For larger sites, I usually work from your team's input and shape it into pages that read clearly. We define this in the scope, so it's priced up front.

How long does a website project take?

It depends on scope and on how quickly content and feedback come in. A focused site moves faster than a multi-template build with a new brand. The proposal includes a timeline with review dates, so you know what to expect at each stage.

Have a project in mind?

Tell me where you are and what you need. I reply within a day, usually with a few questions and a time to talk.
